Kyra C. Williams, M.D.

Dr. Williams graduated from Williams College magna cum laude with honors in biology, earned her medical degree at the University of Virginia and was the most highly ranked resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She received the 2005 Resident Student Teaching Award and the 2006 Outstanding Senior Resident Award from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois in Chicago. In addition, she received an award for Special Excellence in Gynecologic Procedures from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Williams is committed to all aspects of women’s healthcare. She has a special interest in adolescent gynecology. She has been trained in the Essure method of incision-less, hysteroscopic female sterilization. Dr. Williams is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
